The Wild Lantern Festival resumed on July 9 after the park reopened and was set to run until Aug. 28. It will now be extended for an additional two days, until Aug. 30, due to high demand and decreased capacities.

The 1.4-mile event route is wheelchair and stroller friendly on a paved path. More than 2,000 pieces of lanterns are displayed in 65 larger-than-life scenes.

"We are delighted to be able to work with Tianyu Arts & Culture to extend the festival and allow more of our community the chance to see these beautifully illuminated lanterns and learn more about Asian culture," The Director John Walczak said in July.
